I have been a local in Gladstone for 7 years now. After 6 years working at Gladstone District Hospital, I established Gladstone Xray and Ultrasound. After listening to the people of Gladstone, I soon realised that there was a real need for increased services within the city of Gladstone for further ultrasound and other medical imaging services, and also realised a real demand for 3D and 4D imaging, as Gladstone ladies were travelling to Brisbane for these scans.

Central Queenslander

I was born in 1965 and was raised as one of 8 children on a Sugar cane farm at Bargara, Bundaberg. After completing senior and gaining a cadetship in Diagnostic Radiography, I moved to Brisbane to work in the then Royal Brisbane Hospital. I later undertook and successfully completed a Post Grad Dip in Medical Ultrasound, thanks to the supervision of the staff at Nambour General Hospital - Sinclair, Vince, Lisa, Chris and Mark. After my training I decided to return to Central Queensland and join my partner (now husband) Rob, in the Port City of Gladstone in Central Queensland.
